The System

4 pieces of Alcon’s Audio QR36 are stacked into two systems and operated as a mobile unit on an Alcon’s Audio ALC4 controller amplifier. This is equipped with the system-integrative Digital Drive Processor DDP and provides a good 2x 2kW RMS power in this configuration.

The Alcons Audio QR36 was primarily designed as a replacement for the old sound system in the large ballroom,  which, due to its historic, listed ambiance, has somewhat difficult acoustics in terms of sound technology.
However, tests with the QR36 have already shown that it is possible to achieve an extremely even sound distribution in the room, which also leaves nothing to be desired in terms of playback quality and, if required, can also come up with impressive dynamic reserves.
